Story of Goddess/God Ila: There was a king named Manu. He always wanted a son and he did everything like yagnas and Pooja and bali of horses when his queen was preganent. A girl was born, he named her Ila.
Ila was born as a girl was always believed herself as a male. She did everything that a price do, and the king and queen had no problems with that as they wanted a boy. Ila always wanted to become a boy physically, so she did tapasya for 18 years to Lord shiva. After her ghor tapasya, Lord shiva gave her a vardana to become a fully male. She became a physically mentally male. But this was not the plan of shiva. Lord parvati didn't like the way she became a male, so she gave Ila a shrapa (curse). That she will become a male and a female every month periodically. She will never remember what a male has done in his life period and vice-versa.
One day when she was in a female period. She was bathing in a river, Lord budha, the king of planet buddh was roaming in the forest and this beautiful woman. He instantly wanted to marry her. He approached the king and they got married. The king Manu was curious to tell him the story of Ila but Lord Buddha didn't wanted to hear any excuse. He just wanted to marry her.
Since the female month passed, she also got pregnant in that period and one day, when Lord Buddha woke up in the early morning he saw a man was sleeping in his bed. He got terrified and got him arrested. Because of the curse, Ila (male) didn't remember how he got there.
Ila (male) got arrested and sent to karagah.
Lord Buddha started a search for his Queen and informed the King Manu (father of Ila) about the matter. King Manu told Lord Buddha about the matter and they rushed to the karagah and released ila(male). They told Ila about the marriage and asked him to stay indoors and sleep in another room.
This happened a full year, and Ila layed a baby boy named Pururavas. After giving birth, Ila asked Lord Buddha to let her go as she want to go to worship to lord Parvati and wanted to get out of this curse. He understood and let's her go to the forest.
Ila started her devotional journey and did tapasya for many years. Lord parvati appeared one day and asked Ila what she was searching.
Ila instantly asked Lord parvati to make him a male, a fully physical and psychological male. She granted her wish and Ila became a fully male.
Ila then asked Lord parvati why did she cursed her. Lord parvati replied, because you were required to give birth to Pururavas. Pururavas became the first born in the Chandra vanshi Lineage. And hence the birth of Lord Krishna was cleared after many generations. And now when she was free from her karma, she can do whatever she wants.
Ila after becoming a male, married 3 times and became father of 6 kids.

This story is dated more than 10,000 years old. Pururavas became father of Ayu Ayu became father of Nahusha Nahusha became father of Yayati Yayati became father of Yadu King Yadu started His dinesty named Yadavas, who then built Dwarka city in Gujarat. That sank in the ocean 9000 years ago And after many generations(4000 yrs later) Lord Krishna was Born.
After Lord Krishan left the earth for the heavens in the age of 89. The Kalyayuga started. And Yadava Dinesty demolished itself.
